The Management Trainee will undergo a 2+2 year program with the Company and receive on-the-job training, jobscope includes:

First 2 years

• Orders fulfillment
• Record, initiate and enter the orders (orders, acceptance, releasing, and special instructions) into the logistics system to ensure existing information are updated for further processing
• Liaise with external customers including hauliers for necessary arrangements and respond to their enquiries & requirements
• Assist Operations Manager to manage depot performance continually, executing job orders given by respective customers
• Assist Operations Manager to develop associates by providing training and coaching of junior staff so an up to date understanding of processes, policies and procedures are maintained
• Assist Operations Manager in all matters relating to the operations efficiency and safe utilisation of depot facilities and equipment to achieve optimum container throughput
• Assist Operations Manager to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements including workplace safety, fostering a positive & dynamic team
• Maintain documentation of processes that are followed by the department
• Perform additional tasks as required to meet the department’s needs

Next 2 years

• Station overseas to assist in running a depot with the goal of taking charge of a depot after completion of the program.

• Survey container in accordance to criteria set.
• Upload container photos and raise estimates of repair to the system after the survey.
• Ensure no bottle neck at gate area before and after joint survey.
• Perform random QC checks in repair bay.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your superior.

• Handle daily depot operations activities.
• Maintain, update and ensure accuracy of daily movement report.
• Raise estimates of repair of containers for clients.
• Attend & respond promptly to customers’ orders & enquiries.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your superior.

• Shifting, arranging and release containers accordingly.
• Load and unload containers on a timely basis to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of the forklift machine/ equipment.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of the tools, materials and construction methods used in container repair.
• Operate mig and are welder or oxyacetylene torch and plasma cutter in making repairs; and the use and care of small hand and power tools.
• Repair container and replace broken/damage parts.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
